Hey everyone! So a company called Almond Breeze (who make scrummy different types of almond milk, something that you drink if you're vegan, or if your'e lactose intollerant- or if you just like the flavour!) and blogging company Foodies 100 are running a competition to find the best Breakfast Smoothie recipe, including the Almond Breeze almond milk products. I've made this smoothie more than once, and as well as tasting really good, i know it's doing me good- from all the antioxidants from the pomegranate juice to the calcium and protein from the Almond Breeze milk. It works as a great breakfast, and i've found it very slimming too, with the banana giving you enough energy until lunch-time, and the Almond Breeze almond milk being 60% less calories than normal skimmed milk. If you fancy finding out more about Almond milk, or to find any more scrummy breakfast inspirred recipes, check out their website at http://www.almondbreeze.co.uk/
Superfood Smoothie (makes 400ml- 1 large or 2 small glasses)
100ml pomegranate juice
200ml unsweetened Almond Breeze almond milk
1 banana, peeled and diced
40g grapes
1. Blitz all the ingredients together in a liquidiser or food processor. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

Recipe: Perfect Chilli
Everyone has their preferred "perfect" chilli recipe, and this one is mine! Sometimes I alternate it a bit, depending on what i have in the fridge, I might also chuck a rasher of bacon in there, some mushrooms, or have a mix of different coloured peppers- but the spices and herbs I use in the chilli is really what gives it it's lovely flavour. A lot of people put a bit of dark chocolate into their chillis, but I started putting hot chocolate drinking powder in it, as I don't really like or eat chocolate much- but always have hot chocolate drinking powder in the house. Sounds like an odd ingredient but it sweetens as well as thickens the chilli. If making this in a larger batch for a crowd or a party, I find it's nice to serve it with rice, tortilla wraps, nachos, sour cream, salsa and guacemole on the side for people to grab a spoonfull of chilli and garnish with whatever they fancy.
Perfect Chilli (serves 4)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 red onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 green chilli, finely chopped
Big handful fresh coriander, freshly chopped (plus extra for garnish)
500g lean steak mince
1 tsp tomato puree
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp paprika
100g tinned chopped tomatoes
400ml beef stock
1 tin kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 red pepper, seeded and diced
1 tbsp chocolate drinking powder
Salt, sugar and pepper to taste
1. Fry the onions, garlic, chilli and coriander in the olive oil on a medium heat for 5 minutes. Increase the temperature and fry the mince for about 5 minutes, or until beginning to brown.
2. Add the tomato puree and spices, and cook in for a couple more minutes. Add all the other ingredients and cook on a slow heat, for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
3. Season to taste and serve, with extra fresh coriander on top.
DOUBLE EYE LIDS!? FOEVER!? UNEVEN EYE LIDS FIXED!? (WITH NO SURGERY)
Hello my lovley bunnies~~ I'm here again with another post, as it says in the title I'll be showing you ways to get double eye lids and even fix your uneven eye lids /creases.
I know you might be thinking, what!? why would I want double eye lids and my answer is I HAVE NO CLUE!! But I do know that if you have uneven eye lids that it could make you feel terrible about yourself making you lose your confidence and self-esteem, I can't change your opinion about double eye lids and in fact you should decide whether you like it or not.
My post is just to help people who wants double eye lids to get them, from beginners to getting permanent double eye lids without surgery.
Theirs two ways of getting double eye lids without surgery, want to know what they are?

- EYE LID TAPE (CREATES A STRONGER CREASE THAN EYE LID GLUE )
- EYE LID GLUE - (ALSO WORKS IN THE SAME WAY BUT GIVES MORE OF A NATURAL LOOK AN FEEL / BETTER FOR PEOPLE WHO DOESN'T WANT PERMANENT DOUBLE EYE LIDS SINCE WHEN YOU APPLY YOU'RE MAKE UP IT GIVES YOU A MORE NATURAL LOOK )
KISS ME
HEROINE MAKE
DOUBLE EYELID
TAPE
NON PERMANENT
This eye lid tape/glue guide could help you make different lid shapes from korean styled to european styled.
Its all good but want to know a way of getting PERMANENT DOUBLE EYE LIDS, As well as fixing you're eye lid crease making it even.
Wear you're double eye lid tape (I would advise you to use tape in stead of glue since its stronger and ensures a fold than glue) for 22 hrs at least for one day, then do the same everyday for three months straight. It seems harsh on your eye lids but, it does work.
My friend used this method before and now she has double eye lids and I know it works also on uneven eye lids because of Michelle Phan she used the exact method and was able to fix her uneven eye crease. So both ways if you don't have double eye lids and want them theirs away, and if you want a even eye lid then theirs away
NO NEED FOR SURGERY
I actually STRONGLY SUGGEST you do more research on it if you are wanting to get permanent double eye lids OR EVEN fixing your uneven eye lids.
For more info I suggest you check out Michelle Phan's blog post out on her experience.

My informal announcement of my very EXCITING news.
Be warned, this is not an official press release. This is more of a "Flippin' 'eck, how did we go from a bashful young me not wanting to even air my dirty rubbish in public five years ago, to OMG, The Rubbish Diet has just made it to the finals of a major national waste reduction challenge, so come on people, join me and let's rock this thing!" kind of statement.
In other words, The Rubbish Diet bin-slimming project, which was submitted to the Nesta Waste Reduction Challenge in September, has made it to the next stage of of the competition, along with 5 other finalists. Working with our small team, (including Katy, my project manager below), we will now have until the end of September to develop and trial our approach in Suffolk and Shropshire. If we win, we will receive £50k to invest in rolling out the Rubbish Diet nationally.
Scared much? Oh indeed, yes! This is probably the most nerve-wracking thing I've ever done since agreeing to put my own rubbish in the spotlight in 2008 and then coming out from behind my bin to admit to caring so passionately about something that many people still might consider as mundane as the washing-up.
For me the challenge isn't just about helping people to recycle more, it's about bringing the topic so alive that they really want to do it, talk about it, share their expertise, help create waste-busting opportunities in their own communities and most importantly have a lot of fun in doing so.
Our challenge officially launches in Suffolk and Shropshire in April, where we will be asking people to take The Rubbish Diet together, setting up mini 'slimming-clubs' either at work, as part of an existing social group or setting up a local project just to focus on rubbish. So if you live in either county and want to get involved then please get in touch now! We haven't got long to reach the target trial of 100 households in each county, but I have a few exciting surprises up my sleeve which will hopefully be announced soon.
We hope that our eight week Rubbish Diet challenge will give participants plenty of time to try different things and share their experiences. With peer-to-peer support, anticipated early successes and the goal of a personal zero waste week we also hope that bin-slimmers will achieve more than they might first expect.
So while it's going to be a scary ride for me, it's going to be very exciting really, especially as we will also be working with MyZeroWaste to run this year's National Zero Waste Week as our September project finale.
You can find out more about our vision in the video below, which we submitted at the semi-finalist stage.
The Rubbish Diet - Coming To A Bin Near You from Katy Anderson on Vimeo.
It really is great to have reached the Waste Reduction Challenge final and I owe so much of this to my fabulous project team who forged ahead with the application while my own attention was on my mother when she fell ill in November. At the time, none of us knew that she would only have just one month to live. She passed away suddenly at the beginning of December and I miss her very much. If she were still here to share the news, she would now be ringing her friends, rolling her eyes, and saying 'you'll never guess what that Karen is up to now'.
I guess the answer to that is that I'm rolling up my sleeves, beavering away in the background, preparing resources and smiling sweetly at people in such a way that they can't fail to want to get on board. As is my partner-in-grime, Ali, who's doing exactly the very same thing over in Shropshire.
So do watch this space for more news soon. One thing's for sure, it's all going to evolve at a very rapid pace.
Meanwhile, I'd better put a stop to this soppy blogging and get on with writing the press release. So, it's time to grab a coffee, sit up straight at my desk and start looking all official.

#46) Can YOU lose Weight??
There is a big difference between losing weight and maintaining your weight once you lose it. The clients I consult with are totally confused and or mistaken on what they should and should not be eating. So much confusion out there, in print, on the web and on television, that people are misinformed about what to do and so they end up doing the wrong things which serves to frustrate and confuse them even more. I hear really antiquated beliefs people have about dieting and exercise, much of the information they have digested is decades old and out dated. I can make anyone slim down, provided they are a candidate for my program. Certain type health conditions I do not accept and some personality types I do not want to take on. So I have a specific character of clientele that I accept as a slim down client within the 30/10 solution.
Some potential clients in consultation want to fight the process with excuses and denials, on one hand they want to "maybe" lose the weight but on the other hand they do not want to change old habits. "I might want to lose some weight, Dr. Doyle, but don't make me change anything and don't take away the sugars/junk that has caused me to put on these 30, 60, 100
But not all people are like the man described above, many want to play dodge ball and find reasons as to why they should sidestep slimming down right now. "Maybe I will do it in the spring or in summer when things slow down a bit, after my trip to Hawaii, after my kid graduates, after my friends, wedding, after my husbands B-day, after the dinner party next month, after ....."
Bottom line, there is never a "good" time to take the bull by the horns and change your life, much easier to find an excuse to allow yourself to continue to do on into the future, the same thing you have done in the past, that will only allow you to continue to get-what you got.
Not everybody is an easy case when it comes to making that commitment to a program of change, I don't mind that, I like the challenge from a person who wants seriously to change but is fearful and uncertain they can do it. I can easily change the fear and the uncertainty and the false beliefs in a matter of minutes. What I can not change is the person who really does not want to change, I cannot make a person do what they do not want to do. I can only make the process easier and more certain for the individual who really wants to slim down but has a fear of failure or a fear of success or who has false beliefs that they cannot lose the weight.
Weight loss is fun and easy for both of us when I choose the right clients to work with and there are plenty of these wonderful people who sincerely desire change and who need my amazing 30/10 slim down solution. Until next time, Dr. Mark Doyle.
Dr. Doyle is a clinical hypnotherapist registered with the State of Washington, he created the DEEP Release Clear Mind Process a decade ago. He is a chiropractic physician with over 35 years clinical experience and operates a high tech chronic spine pain clinic and the 30/10 Weight Loss For Life slim down solution in beautiful downtown Bellevue, Washington, a suburb near Seattle. His purpose in weight loss is the make the process for his clients as easy and as certain as is possible, he is supportive of safe, fast weight loss with the client objective of weight loss for life. When his clients reach their ideal slim down weight, he does not abandon them, he expects them to continue to frequently/periodically come back into his facility for body composition weigh-ins at no charge. This periodic accountability update will catch any unwanted weight gains early-on, so the client can practice losing the weight themselves with regular food. This success process will give his clients the skills and confidence and expertise needed to accomplish weight loss for life.
Competition: Morphy Richards Healthy Recipe competition
Hey guys. Morphy Richards is doing another fab recipe competition, to win an Intellisteam Compact! Their theme is healthy recipes or "recipes with a healthy twist". If you fancy giving it a go yourselves, you have until the 22nd February to go in for it by posting a healthy recipe on your blogs (along with the pic and link of course!). Check it out here:
My recipe with a healthy twist is my "Healthy Beef Stir Fry"- we all know how many calories and how much fat can be in our cheeky saturday night chinese takeaways, so how about making something with just as much flavour- that's a fair bit more kinder to our waistlines! This recipe uses lean beef and plenty of veggies, and keeps flavours high but calories low using ginger, fresh coriander, and a sticky soy based sauce. Serve with steamed jasmine rice.
Healthy Beef Stir Fry (serves 2)
2 tbsp oil
½ white onion, sliced
2 spring onions, sliced
1 red chilli, seeded and finely diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp minced fresh ginger
300g sliced beef steak (rump is fine)
½ red pepper, sliced
100g chestnut mushrooms, sliced
1 carrot, peeled and finely sliced
1 celery stick, sliced
80g asparagus, diced
Handful chopped fresh coriander (plus extra for garnish)
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp normal soy sauce
1 tbsp honey
½ tsp toasted sesame oil
Pinch of white pepper
1 tsp corn flour, mixed with 100ml water
Salt, sugar and pepper to taste
1. Stir fry the onion, spring onion, garlic, chilli and ginger for 2 minutes. Add the beef and cook for a further 2 minutes.
2. Add the vegetables and coriander, and fry for 4 minutes. Meanwhile, mix together the soy sauces, honey, sesame oil and pepper. Add this sauce, and the corn flour mixture to the pan/wok and cook for a further 3 minutes.
3. Season to taste, garnish with a load more fresh coriander, and serve!

Disclaimer: not saying that all ulzzangs are fakes, i'm just saying that they can fake their beauty in so many ways that you would think they are flawless with no imperfections.
key features that uljjangs are known to have is:
- pale, flawless skin
- big dolly eyes/ double eye lids
- high nose bridge
- very skinny and tall
- V shaped face line or small ,round face
TIPS
- For big dolly eyes you can use circle lenses, it makes a huge difference once you put them on.
- If you don't have double eye lids don't worry, you can use double eye lid sticker that can change your single eye lids to a double eye lid. However for a more natural look I recommend you use double eye lid glue instead, since its less visible.
- For a higher nose bridge all you need is a highlighter, apply it down your nose bridge.
Naturalness is the key point to every uljjang make up. you won't need any dramatic false lashes or even colourful eye shadow. Basically, a good example is of the "no makeup make up".

#45) The SECRET to Losing weight- NOW!
I get a kick out of all the weight loss ads, they are everywhere, as are all the gimmicks to make you buy this and or that. I especially like the "teasers" to encourage you buy a book or read an article on the net, such as "the 10 best foods to help you burn fat that no one knows about," "the secret to turning your body into a fat burning machine," "how to lose the weight and still eat the foods and junk you love," "how to get back that figure you had in high school with these amazing fat burning pills..." It does catch your interest does it not, everyone wants to know the secrets. Well then, that is exactly what this blog will be about, the secrets. I know all the secrets, and yes, there is a secret to effectively lose the weight and to make the process easy and enjoyable and to do it all without the hungers associated with conventional dieting.
The first thing that is needed to make this secret work is your desire to change, to transform from where you are to where you want to be. It is always important for me to take the new slim down client from where they are (frustration, confusion, overwhelm, doubt, uncertainty, helplessness, sadness) into their future desired state of looking and feeling their very best (peace, calm, certainty, confidence, control). With hypnosis it is remarkably easy to take a person who wants to change and transform, into a better place where their focus is no longer on what they perceive as what is, but into a new state of eagerness and excitement for what will be. Some times we get locked or lost in the frustration and confusion and doubt and sadness of the moment and we lock into that "trance" state, sometimes for decades. Then something happens and we say to ourselves, "hmmm, I think I want to make a change, I am ready for something different, I have been playing this sad song for too long, I am tired of this old movie that I have been the writer, director and producer of for so many years, I am ready and willing to do what it takes to make a positive change today and nothing is going to stand in my way, watch out world here I come, move out of my way, I am breaking out-NOW!"
That is really the big secret, you have to want to change, to break all those habits and behaviors that have stuck you into this chronic pattern you have locked into and that you have not been able to get out of, UNTIL suddenly you break your trance. Once this trance is broken you then have the ability to look at yourself and your life with fresh eyes and you make an emphatic statement of conviction to yourself, "I am tired of this garbage and I want out-now-today, I want change, I want a transformation in my life and I am willing and ready to create positive change in my life-TODAY!"
So, secret #1 is an aggressive statement of your desire. Secret #2 is to take positive action in the direction of your desired state and to only look forward into the future, no more looking into the past, your past is over. If you continue doing into the future what you have done into the past, you will continue to get the same results.
Secret #3 is giving me a call and scheduling a consult to determine if you are a good candidate for my 30/10 slim down program. The 30/10 weight loss for life solution is the very best program for quick and safe weight loss, without hunger and without starving yourself. Men lose an average of 50 pounds in 10 weeks and women lose 30/10, 30 pounds average in 10 weeks.
I remember reading once that the great human paradox is that we don't support what we say we want and we don't let go of what we say we do not want. As a matter of fact, what we have a tendency to do is to focus on the "don't wants" in our life, which sets us up for attracting more of those don't wants- believe it or not. The "don't wants" come with a highly negative emotional charge which then drowns out what we say we really want. My slim down clients benefit greatly from a personal session or two with me involving the DEEP Release Clear Mind Process. This process of change creates the "shift" or "pivot" from being stuck in the misery of those don't wants, into the freedom and possibilities of what you really do want.
Secret #4 is the fact that once you reach your ideal weight and your slim down program is complete, we will not abandon you, frequent periodic weigh-ins are essential and at no charge. Read my previous blogs to better understand the importance of secret #4, it is my secret weapon for sustaining weight loss for life.
Secret #5 is when you lose the weight and master the mechanics that allow you to can keep it off by yourself, you will become empowered and in control of what and how you eat, with the skills and experience to know how to lose any gained weight by yourself. Secret #5 is that you do not have to fall prey to the false belief that you will be fat for the rest of your life or that you will just gain it all back if you do lose the weight. Secret #5 is about erasing the false beliefs that hold us back and keep us stuck and out of control. 30/10 is as easy as pie and that is no secret, it really is very very easy. Until next time, Dr. Mark Doyle.
Dr. Doyle is cofounder of the 30/10 Weight Loss For Life solution, women lose an average of 30 lbs. in 10 weeks and men lose 50/10. He is a clinical hypnotherapist registered with the State of Washington, he created the DEEP Release Clear Mind Process a decade ago and has fine tuned and perfected it over the years. He is co-author of two books, Weight Loss for Life and Stop The Pain! He is a chiropractic physician with over 35 years clinical experience and he operates a chronic spine pain clinic and the 30/10 Weight Loss For Life slim down solution in downtown Bellevue, Washington.
Recipe: Custard Buttons
I don't tend to do many "cover recipes"- from books, magazines or celebrity chefs, but with these little morsels I have made an exception. These are an adapted version (I added vanilla, changed amounts around a bit, and increased cooking time) of "Abbie's Custard buttons"- published in "Take a Break My Favourite Recipes" magazine, created by Abigail Smith. What's great about this recipe is it is so incredibly quick to make, yummy- and this batch was actually made with "Pure dairy free soya spread" instead of butter. So this recipe can be turned vegan if so desired!! People at work enjoyed them. I find a nice addition if you have time for it is pink icing and a sprinkling of dessicated coconut on top.
Custard Buttons (makes 18)
200g butter
100g icing sugar
200g flour
60g Bird’s custard powder
½ tsp vanilla extract
1. Preheat the oven to 180C. Cream the butter and icing sugar in a mixer until well mixed. Add the flour, custard powder and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
2. Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper. Roll out small circles of the mix with your hands, and place on the baking sheet. Push down slightly, and then with a cocktail stick, make 4 little holes in the mix (so once baked they look like buttons!).
3. Bake in the oven for 22 minutes. Remove, and allow to cool- serve!

Recipe: Italian Cabbage Soup
Have any of you ever tried that "cabbage soup" diet? I have actually, it does work- I lost about 8 pounds in a week. I used to try all sorts of diets a few years, bit of a yoyo dieter. These days I don't really bother about diet plans/ calorie counting, I just try to not over-do it on the booze and portion size, and I exercise more (I have discovered Zumba recently and it is the best thing ever!!). Whilst I was on the cabbage soup diet, I didnt use the recipe that you are supposed to follow (as to be honest it was revolting) so instead I always used to cook it this way. Nowadays I just cook this soup if I fancy it- even a weeks worth of eating it twice a day hasn't put me off this dish- it's a classic, but I love it.
Italian Cabbage Soup (makes 2 servings)
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 red onion
1 celery stick
1 carrot, peeled and diced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
½ tsp thyme
100g diced/shredded savoy cabbage
Handful fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 bay leaf
½ tin tomatoes
200ml vegetable stock
50g frozen peas or soy beans
Sugar, salt and pepper to taste
1. Fry the onion, celery, carrot and garlic in the olive oil for 5 minutes, covered, stirring occasionally. Add all other ingredients, except the peas (or soy beans), and cook covered for a further 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
2. Add the peas and cook for a further 5 minutes. Season to taste and serve!

Recipe: Perfect Shepherd's Pie
Might not look like much, very simple I suppose, but this is my tried, tested, and perfected Shepherd's pie recipe and it is OUT OF THIS WORLD. May seem a bit weird, adding mayonnaise to the mash- but it actually works and gives the mash a really nice flavour and texture. If feeding a family this dish can of course be very easily multiplied. Also, if you wanted to make a veggie version (a "Shepherdess's Pie") then you can easily replace the lamb with quorn and the beef stock with veg stock. Probably wouldnt be as delicious though...lol!!
Perfect Shepherd’s Pie (serves 2)
1 tbsp olive oil
Knob of butter
1 white onion, diced finely
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 celery stick, diced finely
1 carrot, peeled and diced finely
250g minced lamb
4 chestnut mushrooms, finely diced
1 tsp sundried tomato paste
Splash white wine
Handful fresh parsley
300ml beef stock
1-2 tbsp bisto gravy granules
Salt and pepper to taste
700g maris piper potatoes, peeled and diced
Knob of butter
2 tbsp mayonnaise
Splash of milk
Salt and pepper to taste
1. Fry the onion, garlic and celery for 10 minutes, covered, stirring occasionally. Add the minced lamb, increase the heat, and cook for a further 10 minutes, or until the mince has been browned.
2. Add the mushrooms, tomato paste, and wine, and cook for a further 5 minutes. Add the parsley, beef stock and bisto, and cook on a medium heat for about 20 minutes- or until the mixture has become thick and most of the liquid has evaporated. Season to taste and set aside.
3. Boil the potatoes in salted water. Drain, add the butter, milk, mayo and seasoning, and mash until smooth. Spoon the mince into two separate serving dishes, and top with the mashed potato (you may want to fork lines, or pipe the mash on, for decorative purposes).
4. Put under a hot grill for about 5 minutes, or until the top is beginning to brown. Serve!

ASIAN VS. WESTERN BEAUTY STANDARDS
This is going to be my first rant on the subject that's been bugging me soo~ much!! That is Asian beauty standards. For some reason everyone feel that ''Asians'' are trying to be white/caucasian !? and I really want to clear it up that Asians don't want to be white however I can't say it for all Asians that this is 100% true, but I will be talking about the differences between the beauty standards and how very different they are and how the media plays a huge part of western and asian beauty.
Western
Tanned/dark skin (people feel it gives them a healthy glow)
defined check bones
deep set wide eyes
slender thin pointy nose
Asian
white/pale skin (It's healthy to have pale skin all so it a bout )
double eyelids
V line shaped
small faces/heads
high nose bridge
Western beauty is mostly of being sexy , whereas asians are more on the cute, dolly side.
Listing all the things below what western and asians find beautiful, you can easily see how very different they are. This is due to the media in asia and the west making us want these features. Media plays a huge part of our daily life since we are so used to seeing the tv, internet, adverts with women with these features (and even men) that our brain absorb the info and makes us think that this is what we need to have to be considered as beautiful even if there are dangers to it.
Example;
Western beauty standard is all about tanning a lot to achieve the tanned skin, which people find healthy!? I mean hearing this was so weird to me. Even though I live in Europe and I'm really used to seeing people tan everywhere literally, everywhere even in parks beaches and even in their own back gardens. But I can't quite understand why people think it gives the skin a ''healthy glow''. I mean we all know the skin can get damaged very easily if you spend a long period of time in the sun and it can cause skin cancer, but despite all the dangers people still tan.
SO now you know, that just because an asian wants pale skin doesn't mean they want to be white AND just because white people want darker skin tone doesn't mean they want to be black.
(cough cough I don't know why people judge its not like they don't want darker or parler skin them self cough cough MOST OF THEM ARE JUST HYPOCRITES )

Again, sorry for not posting for a while, but it's been a hectic few weeks. I promise from now on you will be inundated by many mant entries, and I will definitely be trying to get more entries and yummy recipes on the blog this year compared to other years. This is a really nice and simple bake i made for me and my boyfriend the other day- pretty tasty and fairly healthy for a potato dish. I served it as a side dish along side a pork loin chop, but it's hearty enough to be a main course in itself, if you so wish.
Mediterranean Potato Bake (serves 4 as a main course, 6 as a side dish)
2 kg potatoes, peeled and sliced thinly
1 red bell pepper, seeded and diced
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 white onion, sliced
1 tsp dried oregano
200ml vegetable stock
Salt and pepper
Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
1. Preheat the oven to 200C. In a large baking dish, layer the sliced potatoes, and the diced red pepper. Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan and fry the sliced onions for about 5 minutes, or until browned.
2. Put fried onions on top of the potatoes with the oregano, vegetable stock, and plenty of seasonin. Cover with aluminium foil and bake in the oven for 50 minutes. Remove from the oven, remove the foil, garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve!

#43) I Can Make You Slim
Yes I can make you slim and I will make it so you can lose that stubborn excess weight quickly and safely without hunger.
Dropping the weight is so very easy with the 30/10 weight loss for life solution, 30/10 simply means that women lose an average of 30 pounds in 10 weeks and men lose 50/10. If you go back and read my many blogs you will have a greater understanding of the process but the best thing to do is talk to patients in my clinic who are either on the program or who are coming in periodically for their no charge maintenance weigh-ins. This follow-up and accountability is critical to achieve lasting weight loss for life.
I love helping my 30/10 clients get healthy again, the health profile of many of my clients is frightening, medications for acid reflux disease, high blood pressure medications, statins for high cholesterol, sleep apnea, type 2 diabetes, mood disorders, low energy, hormone imbalance, just to name a few of the most common conditions associated with excess weight. The exciting aspect of all this is the fact that most all these people will be able to have their doctor reduce or discontinue the meds as they drop the big weight. It all happens as if by magic and they feel so much better in all ways, really, who wouldn't feel significantly better, if you took 60 pounds out of your midsection?
The real value to what I do is not just the easy and effective initial weight loss but the emphasis on the realization of weight loss for life. Nothing is more important than taking the weight off and maintaining that success. My secret weapon in this endeavor is hypnosis and the changing of beliefs and in letting every client know that when they reach their ideal weight, I will not abandon them. I will want them to continue to return for frequent periodic body composition weigh-ins for the rest of their life-at no charge. With periodic weigh-ins we will catch any weight gain early on ( 5 or 6 lbs.) and then coach the client on how to "error correct" their way back to their ideal weight, on their own with regular foods to lose 3 lbs. a week. Imagine the confidence, skill and certainly that will be developed over time as one learns the art/mastery of slimming down from any early weight gains easily and effectively on their own.
Yes, I can make you slim but I need your help and commitment to achieve and maintain weight loss for life. Together we can do it, hold you accountable, catch any weight gains early on and coach you on how to lose the gained weight easily and effectively on your own. 50% of weight loss and weight gain is diet related and the other 50% is mental/emotional/habit and behavior. Both aspects of this vital equation must be addressed to achieve weight loss for life. Until next time, Dr. Mark Doyle.

#42) Romania & Germany are #1
My blogs are widely read and my biggest readership right now, outside of the good ole USA is Romania and Germany and Russia. These countries apparently have a keen interest in weight loss and in our system/approach to weight loss for life.
30/10 Weight Loss For Life has started providing our slim down solution to clients out of state and out of country. I go so far as to send my clients a body composition scale to measure not only body weight but body fat, muscle mass, visceral fat, BMI and body age. I also send my clients a months worth at a time of specific food products and nutrition. I include my favorite hypnosis tapes and I want a skype or phone session twice a week to coach them along their way.
As a hypnotherapist and having created the DEEP Release Clear Mind Process I will want to provide necessary stress reduction measures and one on one DEEP sessions over the phone to change negative belief patterns a client may have. Beliefs that often serve only to hold them back and keep them trapped into a negative and defeating perspective about themselves and their future.
30/10 Weight Loss For Life is an exciting and encouraging process of change and transformation, from the inside out. Woman average a loss of 30 lbs. in 10 weeks and men 50/10. We make slimming down easy and when you reach that ideal weight we will not abandon you. Read more blogs to better understand this superb system. Visit my 30/10 web site posted to the side of this page. It really is as easy as pie...
